  • upgraded our servers to the newest and fastest systems available, with state of the art power and data backup systems
  • moved our servers onto an even faster, more reliable Internet backbone, with triple redundancy to help reach a goal of zero network downtime
  • upgraded our server software to allow for more features and more control for our customers
  • upgraded our customer billing system to allow for electronic billing to reduce paper and energy waste

Private

 While most Internet service providers allow government agencies full access to their customer records without a warrant, IGC will protect the privacy of its customers to the full extent of the law. The progressive community needs a safe haven from banner ads, government and corporate intrusion and over-zealous business practices. IGC is that place.

Low-Cost

 Our new equipment will enable us to bring you better service, and lower cost to us, and therefore to you. IGC is again signing up new customers, and you will be able to benefit from helping us grow. Expect more news on incentive programs over the next few months. IGC is now offering 3 levels of service for our webhosting customers- all of which compare favorable in price feature-for-feature with commercial hosts.

Non-Profit

 IGC will continue it’s service to the progressive community on a non-profit basis so that the priority remains how IGC can serve the community, and not itself. IGC rejects the notion that only for-profit companies can provide the services needed by the progressive community.

State of the Art

 IGC has acquired new technology, including state of the art web-hosting and email servers, and improved redundancy and back-up systems for the benefit of our existing and new customers.
